Blade Icewood

Blade Icewood (March 14, 1977 – April 19, 2005), born Darnell Quincy Lindsay, was an American rapper from Detroit, Michigan. Icewood was raised on the westside of Detroit in the vicinity of 7 Mile Road & Evergreen. He was a member of the Street Lord'z rap group and is considered one of the most influential rappers in the Detroit underground rap genre. He was fatally shot on April 19, 2005, in gang related violence while at a car wash in the 7 Mile and Faust Rd area of westside Detroit.

Blade Icewood debuted as a local rapper in Detroit with the Street Lord'z on their album, ''Platinum Roleez Don’t Tic Toc''. He performed with TewTimes, Yacht, Jesse James, O Dolla, Brick, Baby L, Juan, TJ Da Thug, G Rock, Fat Mike, Lil Kuz, Rook, Cashout, K Deezy, Chedda Boy Malik, Big J, Black, Lady Blade, DJ Mark G, Gift Reynolds, Young Roy Boy, Ron Ron, and Starr Strukk rap group until his death in April 2005.〔http://lastfm.spiegel.de/music/Street+Lord%27z/+wiki〕
